Our ranges consist of Re-Usable Stainless Steel Surgical Instruments including Tungsten Carbide, Theatre & CSSD Quality, as well as Sterile Single Use Stainless Steel Surgical Instruments & Sterile Instrument packs.       We hold over 40 different diagnostic lines, which consist of Sphygmomanometers and Associated Products, including Stethoscopes, Hammers, Pen Torches, Ophthalmoscopes and Otoscopes, as well as Single Patient Cuffs.       We have clean room facilities at our factory in Bexhill, East Sussex, enabling us to reduce inefficiencies and pass on savings. Rapid pack changes and bespoke packs to customer’s requirements are available.

Lyall Willis was formed in 1898 and became a UK Ltd Company in 1920 primarily dealing in the export of UK manufactured goods. Lyall Willis & Co. Ltd. later moved its focus to becoming suppliers and distributors of surgical instruments, surgical equipment, medical diagnostic equipment and devices as well as Medical and scientific Instrumentation. Over the years Lyall Willis Surgical has built up considerable experience in the healthcare market specifically relating to its extensive range of surgical instruments and medical diagnostic equipment. To develop the UK market Lyall Willis offered a customer orientated service to medical trade companies throughout the UK as well as the NHS Trusts.

Most of our sales and marketing is carried out through the instrument trade and distributors. Lyall Willis Surgical has become well known for stocking over 2,000 different types of surgical instruments available for next day despatch throughout the UK. With a total stock of over 400,000 instruments and surgical equipment products, Lyall Willis surgical is able to respond quickly to customer demand and always strives to deliver more than 98% of orders on time and in full.

We hold a current ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, MDD 92/43/EEC certification and mark all our instruments with "CE" Mark and MDA Registration number "CA 001080". We also supply our own branded Sphygmomanometers marked with our registration number 0473. All surgical instruments are made from the highest-grade quality stainless steel to meet the requirements of BS 5194 part 1-4. We also supply bespoke surgical equipment, instruments and diagnostic equipment where required by our customers.

Furthermore Lyall Willis Surgical has expanded its operations into the supply of Single Use Sterile Surgical Instruments and Procedure Packs including Drapes. We have set up our own Clean Room Facility at our Factory in Bexhill-on-sea. Further additions to our scope include medical diagnostic equipment such as Sphygmomanometers, Stethoscopes, Hammers, Tuning Forks, Laryngoscopes, and currently we have been successful on both Re-Usable and Single Use Framework Agreements and are suppliers of surgical equipment to numerous NHS Supply Chain Contracts.
